The winter solstice is approaching! We may find ourselves in the heart of a very busy season, and as the stress builds, you may wonder why? Why is it so stressful? I’ll tell you why— we are fighting the natural rhythm of the world.
This is a time when the nights are longest and the non-human world around us takes a deep breath, inviting us to slow down and cultivate presence in our lives and relationships. The more we resist rest, the more we feel the stress. So, as this year comes to a close, I invite you to explore how we can find rest and relaxation, and deepen our intimacy and attunement with ourselves and our partners as we move forward into the next.
